Hanging out at Ma and Pa's

Well, we got talked into letting mom sneek away with Savannah after her visit to our house this past week, and I must say...I miss me some Savannah terribly. Way too quiet around this place now. This will be the longest that we've been apart from Savannah, seeing that it will be a week and a half before we are able to get down to Arkansas for the family reunion. I'm sure she doesn't even notice yet that Mom and Dad haven't been around much lately. She's too preoccupied with cows and cats, four-wheelers and golf carts, Ma and Pa, and Aunts galore. With all that to contend with, I don't know how we'll ever get her in the car to come back home next week!

Looks like they are having a wonderful time. I bet you are missing that girl. Isaac isn't even gone yet and I miss him already. He will be gone from us a total of 13 days because he and Julia are going to stay with my parents after the Arkansas trip. Definitely never been away from him that long :(

You thought I was just kiddin when I said that toddlers don't wear anything but diapers around the house in Arkansas. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that she did wear shorts much of the time after seeing these pics.

I meant to tell you that the dark pic of Savannah looking out the french doors was of her looking at the cats sitting on top of firewood on the back deck. It had just stopped raining, and the windows were still wet--not a great shot.

Savannah and Ma & Pa have had a wonderful week, and I will be so sorry to see her leave. My only consolation will be that I will have Isaac for a week. Truly it cannot get any better than this.

Don has said, "This is pay back time." He is committed to spoiling our grandkids, and then sending them home for you to straighten out. He talks big--I don't think lovin them, huggin them, kissin them and all their boo-boos will do too much damage.
And, he has certainly done his part of that. Seeing Don with his grandchildren is heartwarming. He is plum goofy over them.

Mom gave me your website address. Sure is nice to see pics of all of you. Congratulations on Gavin! He's so adorable. Our little girl is due on September 27. Missing your family and praying for you guys today! Give Tarah a big hug from me.
