The Call

Well, sorry that I have not posted anything sooner. This actually won't be that in depth, but I need to go to bed soon. We are still tired just from going and going and going all weekend and week long. Anyways, WAHOOOO! "The Call" was amazing! No actually amazing doesn't describe it well enough. It was more like mind blowing. I have never before been called to such a level of intensity for seeking the Lord for any matter, much less a matter as great as any of the ones covered this weekend. I truly believe that we will look back within the next few months and years to see that this was the day that MANY things were accomplished in the heavens, which captured God's heart and turned his hand toward America and his church in a new way. We spent the entire day as a unified body of Christ, from all over the country and the world. We sought the Lord's forgiveness for past sins in this country and in our own lives, and we sought the Lord's favor, blessings, and guidance in a number of different areas. We also spent much of the day simply praising and worshipping Jesus Christ, who is our wonderful Lord and Savior. What a terrific day. I was up there at 7:00am for the repentence walk through town to the stadium, and then we stayed till the end at about 10:15pm. So much was accomplished, and we were truly in awe. I have never seen so many people show up to simply pray and worship, and to do it so fervently. The bible gives us the promise, and we know by experience, that God does not ignore his people when they humble themselves and call upon his name! We cannot wait to see what comes of all this. He is good.

I've been waiting to hear about it. Hey, I saw that SW Airlines has cheap tickets to Houston....you should come and tell us all about the call in person! :)

That is awesome! Wish we could have been there to pray with you, but our prayers joined yours from afar. Look forward to hearing more about it.
